The High Sheriff of Shropshire’s Outstanding Young Citizen Awards Ceremony

Abby Rooney, Year 12, attended Telford College on Wednesday evening to collect her award in
recognition of excellence, outstanding attitudes and actions within the local community. Abby is a
member of the Shropshire Army Cadet Force and has taken part in many sporting events as well
as taking an active part in RBL Remembrance events. Abby has also been a great strength within
her own family, taking the role as lead carer in challenging circumstances.
