On Thursday 26th March, our GCSE Drama students visited Theatr Clwyd to watch a live performance of Teechers. This trip forms an important part of their written exam, where they are required to complete a live theatre evaluation.
The students had a fantastic time and engaged brilliantly with the performance. As well as enjoying the show, they were given the opportunity to take a closer look at some of the costumes used in the production, bringing their learning to life beyond the classroom.
A real highlight of the visit was meeting one of the actors, who played Hobby. Students found this especially inspiring and it gave them valuable insight into the world of professional theatre. Overall, it was a memorable and enriching experience that will support their studies and deepen their understanding of live performance.
